YOU BUG ME is a 240-word PB for ages 3-8, illustrated in gauche with 2 pages of backmatter.

When Boisea the nymph-stage Boxelder bug goes searching for his mother, he insults his neighboring insects with the repeated phrase, “you bug me.”

Technically, they are not bugs! They are insects, which all eleven let him know in their own grumpy way.  

NO BARE FEET FOR BARNABY is the story of young Barnaby, who is invited to a pool party and wants to go, but he is resisting getting ready because he doesn't want anyone to see his bare feet.  This is a humorous story with a surprise at the end - email me if you want to see a mock up!
